BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Kelly Ann Meade | President
As the Founder and President of the Bahamas Pickleball Federation, Kelly has been instrumental in bringing this exciting sport to the forefront of the Bahamian community. Originally a tennis enthusiast, Kelly transitioned to pickleball, drawn by its inclusivity and the sheer enjoyment it offers players of all ages. Passionate about community development, Kelly is dedicated to introducing pickleball to both the youth and older generations across the Bahamas, recognizing the country's sunny weather as an ideal backdrop for this rapidly growing sport. Under her leadership, the Federation aims to position young Bahamians at the start of pickleball's rise, with the vision that they could one day compete on an Olympic stage.

Derron Donaldson | Vice President
Derron Donaldson, a notable figure in Bahamian sports administration, embarked on his tennis journey at age 4, transitioning from player to esteemed coach and leader. Guiding the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture's summer camp at age 16, and eventually directing national tournaments, he emerged as the youngest elected official in national sports governance as President of the Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association at the age of 23 and Chairman of the National Tennis Center and elected as the youngest Bahamas Olympic Committee Vice President at the age of 24, Certified by USPTA and as a Cardio License Instructor and Padel Certified, he currently serves as Secretary General of the Bahamas Olympic Committee, while excelling as one of the youngest Director’s at the Lyford Cay Club with the company for 14 years and 6 years as Director of Tennis. Recipient of 40 under 40 most successful young professionals in the Bahamas 2024, appointed to the Olympic Academies and education commission under Pan Am Sports 2025-2028, and most recently appointed Director of Racquets at the John McEnroe Tennis Center Baha Mar.

Tsinena Thompson | Secretary
Tsinena Thompson recently joined BPF as its Secretary. Tsinena and husband John are enjoying their retirement years as Permanent Residents of the Bahamas residing in Nassau. In addition to being an avid Pickleball enthusiast, Tsinena is excited to share over 30 years of experience as a practicing attorney, and over two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership with 14 years' experience as a President & CEO in her role as Secretary on the BPF Board of Directors. Her experience in the nonprofit sector focused on governance, best practices, financial and program development transforming a small founder led organizationinto a nationally recognized, board led, financially sustainable and thriving nonprofit before her retirement in 2023. "The BPF's mission to grow the sport of pickleball in the Bahamas, and service to the community is near and dear to my heart and I look forward with earnest to this wonderful volunteer opportunity." Tsinena Thompson.

Kim Kooskalis | Treasurer
Kimberly Elizabeth Kooskalis is a Bahamian and the Owner and Director of Blairwood Academy. Her school, which caters to children with behavioral and learning challenges, has been in existence for 31 years, with Kimberly the school’s Director for the past 16 years.
She has also sat on the board of The Royal Nassau Sailing Club for 7 years, 3 of which she was the Commodore.
Kimberly plays pickleball on a daily basis and has played tennis from young adulthood. She has a strong desire to make pickleball a sport within the school systems of The Bahamas and she also liaises with the Canadian Pickleball Association in integrating an international impact for the BPF.

Garry Livingston Greenslade Jr | Head of Associations
Garry Livingston Greenslade Sr. was born on April 23, 1970, on the Island of New Providence. He grew up in a Christian household that instilled in him the values of hard work, faith, and the belief in endless possibilities. His educational journey began at Mable Walker Primary School, followed by S.C. McPherson Junior High, and culminated in his graduation from A. Adderley Senior High School.
From a young age, Garry displayed a competitive spirit. No stage was too big or small for him; he always aimed for the best possible outcome. While he had a passion for various sports, track and field stood out as his favorite.
After completing his tertiary education, Garry joined the Royal Bahamas Defense Force, where he served with distinction for twenty-four years. His commitment to his country earned him respect and admiration within the organization. Following his military career, Garry embraced his entrepreneurial spirit and transitioned into business.
As a passionate sports enthusiast, he discovered a new love for the game of pickleball. Eager to learn and improve, he quickly grasped the fundamentals of the sport and focused on enhancing his athletic skills. Joining others in weekly and sometimes daily competitions, he immersed himself in the vibrant pickleball community.
His dedication to the game transformed him into both a voice and an ambassador for pickleball on the Island of Abaco. Committed to promoting the sport, he has worked tirelessly to foster its growth and development throughout the island and across the Bahamas.

Sandra Masterman | International Communications Representative
Sandra holds a degree in Business Administration and has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in highly competitive markets. Beyond her professional achievements, she is an active community leader, serving as the committee chair for fundraising efforts benefiting multiple school and athletic programs. Her leadership and strategic planning have been instrumental in achieving significant funding goals, contributing to the success and enrichment of these programs.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Sandra is a certified tennis instructor with both the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). After dedicating 20 years to tennis, she has now seen the light, divorcing tennis and becoming an avid pickleball player.
Sandra enjoys spending time in the Bahamas and owns a second home in Nassau where she finds inspiration, relaxation, and has also found fellow pickleballers. Her international perspective and diverse interests bring a unique and valuable dimension to the board.
