COACHING & LESSONS

Brezile Hamilton - Albany Pro
Was a top-ranked junior in The Bahamas and represented the country in various international tournaments such as Junior Davis Cup and JITIC. Brezile went on to play varsity tennis for Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He is an experienced instructor for pickleball, tennis, and padel at Albany and has a passion for coaching others to help them succeed in every aspect of racquet sports.
Justyn Thompson - Baha Mar Pro
Was a top-ranked junior in The Bahamas and
Graduated from The University of The Bahamas with a degree in K-12 Education with a focus in Physical Education. While attending the university, he was involved in several community service projects and apart of the honors society (NSLS) as well as Greek life.
His main extra curricular activity growing up was tennis where he was the #1 junior player in the country and competed on several national teams for The Bahamas. Justyn is currently a certified tennis instructor with both the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). Justyn found a passion for Pickleball while working at the Stratton Mountain Resort located in Vermont, United States under CliffDrysdale Tennis and carried it back with him at the Baha Mar Resort located in Nassau, Bahamas where he is currently a tennis and pickleball professional.
Kevaughn Ferguson - Harbour Island Pro
Former Bahamian jr national tennis player. Attended college in the US at Prairie State and Missouri Valley College. Earned a Bachelors degree in exercise science. Moved on to teach tennis in California for 2 years. Started teaching pickleball at Bakers Bay and Bahamar in 2021. Now the Director of Tennis in Harbour Island and Pickleball Pro.

Kelly Ann Meade | President
As the Founder and President of the Bahamas Pickleball Federation, Kelly has been instrumental in bringing this exciting sport to the forefront of the Bahamian community. Originally a tennis enthusiast, Kelly transitioned to pickleball, drawn by its inclusivity and the sheer enjoyment it offers players of all ages. Passionate about community development, Kelly is dedicated to introducing pickleball to both the youth and older generations across the Bahamas, recognizing the country's sunny weather as an ideal backdrop for this rapidly growing sport. Under her leadership, the Federation aims to position young Bahamians at the start of pickleball's rise, with the vision that they could one day compete on an Olympic stage.

Erika Knowles | Vice President
A TV creator & Brand Specialist aiming to make a difference by doing things differently, Erika is also a natural-born athlete. As Vice President of the Bahamas Pickleball Federation, she plays an instrumental role in promoting the growth and development of the sport both nationally and internationally. With a passion for sports in general and a commitment to foster inclusivity within pickleball locally, Erika collaborates with board members to carry out strategic initiatives that enhance player experience and expand the sport’s reach.
By enjoying as well as advocating for the sport and for its advancement and accessibility, Erika ensures that BPF kicked off and will remain at the forefront of this rapidly growing and ridiculously enjoyable sport.

Sandra Masterman | Secretary
Sandra holds a degree in Business Administration and has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in highly competitive markets. Beyond her professional achievements, she is an active community leader, serving as the committee chair for fundraising efforts benefiting multiple school and athletic programs. Her leadership and strategic planning have been instrumental in achieving significant funding goals, contributing to the success and enrichment of these programs.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Sandra is a certified tennis instructor with both the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). After dedicating 20 years to tennis, she has now seen the light, divorcing tennis and becoming an avid pickleball player.
Sandra enjoys spending time in the Bahamas and owns a second home in Nassau where she finds inspiration, relaxation, and has also found fellow pickleballers. Her international perspective and diverse interests bring a unique and valuable dimension to the board.

Kim Kooskalis | Treasurer
Kimberly Elizabeth Kooskalis is a Bahamian and the Owner and Director of Blairwood Academy. Her school, which caters to children with behavioral and learning challenges, has been in existence for 31 years, with Kimberly the school’s Director for the past 16 years.
She has also sat on the board of The Royal Nassau Sailing Club for 7 years, 3 of which she was the Commodore.
Kimberly plays pickleball on a daily basis and has played tennis from young adulthood. She has a strong desire to make pickleball a sport within the school systems of The Bahamas and she also liaises with the Canadian Pickleball Association in integrating an international impact for the BPF.
